WAYPOINT 100 SUPPORT DOWNLOADS

This page contains downloads for specific Mobile Crossing products for our customers. Unless otherwise marked they can be downloaded directly to a pocket pc and used without going through active sync on a pc. Cab files should be downloaded and executed by tapping on them from file explorer. They will perform the installation and then the cab file will be erased.

WayPoint 100

DST ROM Update  02/14/07 (Installation Instructions)
Note: This release includes all previous changes and adds DST date changes caused by Congress changing the start and stop days of DST. After the ROM is installed and the reboot completed please change the clock to visiting time and then change it back to Home time to trigger the time zone code to update the DST data.

ROM Update  09/25/06 (Installation Instructions)
Note: This release includes all previous changes but removes the Text to speech processor due to ROM overload (this is available as a separte download). This release adds 8 more Meg of free RAM memory. It also upgrades Memory-map to version 5.1.3 and MS Reader to version 1.4.2. The new MS reader supports zooming images (tap and hold on an image) and can use landscape mode if you use a third party program like NYDITOT.

pSpeak.tts  
Note: pSpeak.tts adds text to speech capabilty to WayPoint Navigation version 4.6. It can be placed in flash disk or on an optional SD card. Use tools > setup > sound to look for it. It is a separate download as some ROM versions do not include it.

English voices  
Note: English Voices adds several new voices to WayPoint Navigation version 4.6. Unzip and read the Readme.txt file for installation instructions.

Spanish Language 
Note: Spanish Language add support for Spanish to WayPoint Navigation version 4.6. Unzip and read the Readme.txt file for installation instructions.

Memory-Map ROM Update  04/14/06 (Installation Instructions)
Note: This release includes all of the WayPoint Navigation fixes shown in the 9/14/05 version and adds preloaded Gismo backup, a demo version of Memory-map and upgraded maploader.

Memory-Map PC Demo  V5.07 (Installation Instructions)
Note: This download installs a demo version of Memory_map navigator for the PC. It interacts with Memory-map loaded on the WayPoint or other Windows PDA.
