Being able to locate a selection of properties is important but when it’s all said and done the real power is having the property details at the tip of your fingers. Tapping the MLS number on the search results will bring up the details page.

The details page contains a full list of items about the property of interest. This should allow you to answer many of the clients specific questions. But, what about the neighborhood?

On the details page there is a utilities icon that will bring up a menu of additional selections as shown in the figure. Two of these selections are tied directly to the included WayPoint navigation product. The Display Map selection will search for the location and display it in the center of a map using the WayPoint navigation software. While viewing the map the surrounding area is easily seen including nearby POI’s like schools and shopping. All of the power of the WayPoint is available at this point, zoom in, zoom out or pan around a bit. Tap the right most hard plastic button to return to the Pocket Real Estate page exactly where you were. This button can be used to toggle between the two programs as needed.

The second entry on the menu that works with the WayPoint is the Route To command. This will generate a route from your current location (or a location you choose) directly to the property. The navigation program will display the map and provide turn by turn instructions with voice prompts to guide you directly to the property. Like the Display Map command you can toggle between the two applications with the WayPoint hard button but even if you are displaying the Pocket Real Estate screen the navigation messages will still be heard.
