COMPACT FLASH GPS:
The Compact Flash GPS Receiver provides real time
location information for a Pocket PC, laptop or tablet PC that has a CF slot.
Our Compact Flash GPS receiver is designed to
affordably add navigation capabilities to any device with a Compact Flash slot.
Because our Compact Flash GPS is fully compatible with NMEA 0183, it works with
just about any NMEA navigation software. Once placed in view of the sky, the
highly sensitive antenna pulls in signal from up to 12 satellites
simultaneously. Powered by the industry-leading high-performance low-power SiRF
Star II/LP, our Compact Flash draws on 90mA. This very low current draw means
more battery time for you! With our Mobile Crossing GPS receiver, you will NOT
pay any subscription fees to receive satellite data.

Learn why Mobile Crossing's CompactFlash GPS is
Better.
- Better
Accuracy
Mobile
Crossing¹s CompactFlash GPS uses the same high-tech
GPS technology as in our top of the line Bluetooth
GPS. It has the very latest firmware available.
The much sought after geoid correction is present
in our CompactFlash GPS giving the same high quality
altitude results as our top of the line Bluetooth
GPS. With WAAS enabled, our accuracy is now down
to 5 meters 95% of the time. Even with WAAS turned
off, our Bluetooth GPS pinpoints your position to
15 meters 95% of the time and within 10 meters 90%
of the time.
- Easy
Installation
Our
CompactFlash GPS functions in both CF Type 1 and
CF Type 2 compatible slots. For Pocket PC PDAs,
there are no drivers necessary for the system to
recognize our card. For laptops, we include a easy
to use mini-CD that sets up the GPS with just a
few mouse clicks. Laptop users will need a Compact
Flash to PCCARD adapter, sold separately.
- Low
Power Consumption
The
Mobile Crossing CompactFlash GPS draws 90mA even
under full power. This ensures hours of use in real
life situations.

half of them are busy providing service to our friends
on the other side of the planet.
